Payment & Cancellation Policies         All reservations/bookings will follow these conditions sole with no variations. A 50% non-refundable deposit of the accommodation fees is due to secure the booking and made payable to A. L. O. C. (T). Ltd. (trading name, E Unoto Retreat) eight full weeks prior to the date of arrival at the lodge. The deposit is accepted as part of the full payment and will only be refunded if the representative (individual or company making the reservation) cannot be accommodated. If the full amount is not paid in due time, we reserve the right to treat any reservations as cancelled. Any reservations made less than 60 days prior to the arrival at the lodge; payment is then required in full at the time of making the reservations. The representative who accepts the reservation/booking does on behalf of the entire group in the reservationist’s party. All cancellations must be in writing and signed by the representative or for tour agents the Director/Manager. For canceling prior to eight weeks before arrival at the lodge - the representative’s/tour agent’s deposit is forfeited. If a cancellation is made after the due date for full payment of the accommodation fee, charges will occur. If your cancellation is made after the due date for full payment of your accommodation fee, charges will occur. CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION: E Unoto Retreat will retain the following percentage upon cancellation of your booking within the following timeframes: eight weeks and above: 50%; within eight weeks: 60%; within three weeks: 75%; within two weeks: 90%; within one week: 100%         MEALS: The Agent shall show clearly on the Agents voucher whether “Half or Full Board” accommodation is required. The Agent must also give details of all special requirements - such as arrival for which mealtime, special dietary requirements, special conditions or celebrations, etc. In addition, no refund will be given for meals not taken. CURRENCY OF PAYMENTS: We accept payment in US Dollars: in cash, Traveler’s Checks, and pre-approved Company checks – payable at our Arusha office. Please make checks for services of E Unoto Retreat to: A. L. O. C. (T) Ltd. PAYMENT SURCHARGES: Any bank surcharges that may occur for the Agent’s choice of payment are responsibility of the Agent. Checks received and returned by our bank will incur a 10% Unpaid Check Charges to the Agent, and will not hold a reservation and will incur payment in cash only basis for the future bookings.         LATE PAYMENTS: Should the Agent fail to settle within the agreed term, the Agent will pay an additional 5% (five percent) late Payment Fee, plus interest of 3% (three percent) per month on the unpaid amount. Such late payment will result in default of this contract. VARIATION & GOVERNMENT TAXES: Every effort will be made to maintain the contractual rates mentioned in this agreement; however, the rates afore-mentioned are subject to change without notice. The Agents Rates quoted above are inclusive of government taxes as applicable. A. L. O. C. (T) Ltd. reserves the right to increase the rates of this Contract, should the government increase any tax rate or introduce a new tax.         CONFIDENTIALITY: The Agent / Tour Operator agrees and confirms that no part of this agreement may be passed on / divulged to any third party, in any form, and that the contents of this contract agreement are strictly confidential to the undersigned parties. LIABILITY: A. L. O. C. (T) Ltd. does not and will not accept responsibility for any incident or accident of any nature involving any client(s) who is/are at any property(ies), nor while traveling to or from any property/(ies).
